Meet the New Starter - Rachael Halliwell

What attracted you to the role at TIP?

I had been made aware about an opening within the company from two TIP Mechanics that spoke very highly of the company. I did my own research and found myself very impressed as a whole. I value a company that looks after their staff and has the opportunities to succeed in different roles which stood out to me.

What excites you most about your new role with TIP? 

Working with a new team who are all very supportive and sociable. I thrive from learning new skills and knowledge that hopefully will take me far within the company.

What skills do you hope to bring to TIP?

My background is very customer service and compliance based which will help me in my role and TIP.

What is your biggest work-related achievement?

I am very adaptable which has helped in my previous careers by jumping in and out of various job roles as and when needed too, to help the business and learn new skills.

What is your biggest personal achievement?

When joining high school, I moved to a new area and had to start fresh, this has helped me through my life as I always throw myself into something new not knowing anybody.

How do you like to start your day?

With a cup of tea and a dog walk.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am very sociable, so I like to meet up with friends/family, plenty of shopping, having meals out and enjoy long walks.
