What attracted you to TIP Group?
I was attracted to their committed internship programme and how much the company values helping young people to grow and aspire in their future. As well as gaining experience of working in a fast-paced business and stepping outside of my comfort zone.

Motivating, exciting, supportive
What does a typical day for you involve?
A typical day for me includes responding to emails and messages, setting up and hosting meetings, keeping to agenda, sticking to deadlines, and communicating with colleagues.
What have you learned/developed since the start of your internship?
I have learnt so much since starting at TIP! For example, the processes of a business, the different departments, organizational skills, how to write a good email and getting my head around the world of IT! But most importantly, I have learnt the importance of confidence and positivity and not to be afraid of asking questions.
What is your favourite thing about working for TIP?
The office's culture is really positive and friendly, always have a laugh and someone to chat to. I also enjoy how much involvement my role has with each team in some way or another, which means it never gets boring! As well as enjoying working alongside other interns so you never feel alone!
What is one thing that makes your day instantly better?

About the Role
The Role:
-
Building and maintaining relationships globally with key stakeholders and both internal and external contacts

Close collaboration with project managers/leaders and development teams regarding release management activities
-
Engage in strategic projects and support the project management team in meeting participation and key project-related activities
-
Working with the IT Integrations project manager to help manage the acquisitions
-
Working under NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and understanding to keep information confidential
-
Opportunity to work alongside fellow interns on a designated short-term project
-
Requirements gathering and supporting the delivery of IT solutions

IT Budget management
-
Process IT Purchase Orders and manage invoices

Opportunity to join the volunteering committee to help plan and organise quarterly events
