What does a typical day for you involve?
A typical day for me as a TIP (IT Applications Intern) in the UK involves a lot of multitasking. I'm usually working on several projects simultaneously, which has helped me become adept at prioritizing tasks, managing my time efficiently, and communicating effectively with my team and other departments. I also spend a significant portion of my day troubleshooting technical issues, which has sharpened my problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Collaborating closely with my IT team and colleagues from different departments has been essential in developing my teamwork and collaboration skills. It's a fast-paced environment, so I'm constantly learning and adapting to stay current with industry trends. And of course, I make sure to take short breaks to recharge.
What have you learned/developed since the start of your internship?
Since beginning my internship at TIP Group, I've honed my technical skills by working with various software. Additionally, I've developed crucial project management skills like task prioritisation and time management by handling multiple projects concurrently. My problem-solving abilities have also been enhanced through regular troubleshooting exercises. Overall, the internship has been instrumental in sharpening both my technical and soft skills.
What is your favourite thing about working for TIP?
My favourite aspect of working at TIP Group would undoubtedly be the supportive and motivating work environment. It's a place where innovation is encouraged, and the focus on creating impactful projects keeps me engaged. The company's commitment to employee development, demonstrated by various training opportunities, makes it an ideal setting for both personal and professional growth. Overall, the experience is challenging yet rewarding, which aligns perfectly with my career aspirations.

About the Role
The Role:

Key Liaison: Serve as the primary contact between customers and technical support teams across Europe, utilizing Salesforce and ServiceNow for effective customer management. Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders through Microsoft 365 tools.

Project Collaboration: Engage closely with project and development teams for release management and strategic initiatives. Utilize PPM Express for tracking project timelines and PowerApps for app development. Collaborate with fellow interns on Power Automate-assisted short-term projects.

Operational Management: Oversee the IT budget and process purchase orders through ServiceNow, while managing software requirements in PowerApps. Keep a detailed, up-to-date record of licenses and contracts.

Team & Volunteering: Be an active part of a cross-functional team, leveraging Microsoft 365 for collaborative work. Optionally, use Power Automate to streamline planning and execution in the volunteering committee for quarterly events.
