How long have you been in the industry and how did you get into it?

I have been in the industry for nearly 23 years! I started in an operational role, checking vehicles and trailers at the end of contracts for damage and checking new build specifications against the order. From there, I grew into the sales roles.

What do you like about working for TIP Group?

I like the team feeling that runs right through the company and how all departments collaborate really well to best service our customers.

What does a typical day for you involve?

I have a varied role that changes on a daily basis but all revolves around giving customers the best service possible and building long-standing relationships.

What are the top 3 most valuable skills you’ve learnt whilst working for TIP Group?

The top 3 most valuable skills I’ve learnt are collaboration, communication and customer service; the company strives to excel on all 3.

What is your biggest work achievement?

I don’t really have an individual achievement that stands above the rest, all of them have led me to where I am today.

What's your opinion on how TIP Group has changed or evolved in the past few years?

I think the growth and diversification over the last few years has been fantastic! We can now offer a full package of trucks, trailers and maintenance to our customers, using this as a way to enhance relationships and build on the strong roots that TIP has always had in the UK market.

How do you like to start your day?

I like to start my day with a strong cup of tea and a chat with the kids before they go to work/school.

What’s your ideal way to spend your weekends?

On the golf course as often as I can be.

What is a fun/interesting fact about yourself?

I was born on Christmas Day.
