Meet the TIP Southampton Team

The TIP Southampton team is led by Peter Shears (Branch Operations Manager) who is supported by Simon Roe (Assistant Branch Operations Manager), Jason Swatton (Workshop Manager) and Christian Broomfield (Operations Assistant).

Peter has 36 years’ experience in the vehicle/trailer industry! If he didn't work for TIP, his ideal job would be a whisky taster!

Simon is a long-term member of the TIP family. He has a wealth of experience, making him the 'go-to-guy' for most things and the font of all knowledge at the branch. Outside of work he is a keen cornet player in his local brass band and a 'Strictly' mean dancer.

Jason and Christian are relatively new to TIP. Outside of work Jason enjoys taking his dogs for walks in the New Forest. Christian is a big sports fan.

Adie McPhee, Workshop Mechanic. Adie has been with TIP for over 15 years.

Other members of Jason's team are:-

Darren Compton, Workshop Supervisor. Darren has just short of 34 years’ service and is the 'oracle' of the group.

Jon Wearn, Workshop Supervisor. Jon is another 'lifer' with around 35 years’ service.

Matt Woodley, Mobile Mechanic. Matt has been with TIP for over 10 years.

Mark Blakesley, Mobile Mechanic. Based in the Swindon area, Mark has been with TIP for nearly 15 years.

On the commercial side, the branch is led by Dean 'Eddie' Tizard, ardent Saints fan.
