Meet the TIP Nuneaton Team
The TIP Nuneaton team is based at or from our new ‘super-branch’ which opened early 2020. The branch’s location provides easy access from the M6, M42, M1 and M69 motorways and the branch is one of our busiest in the TIP UK Network. The team of over 30 is dedicated to supporting customers’ trailer hire and maintenance requirements in the ‘heart’ of the country.
Simon Dudley & Matt Gripton lead the branch’s commercial responsibilities and have a combined 50 years’ experience in the industry. They have exceptional knowledge of the industry, a customer-driven focus and are both well-established characters within the sector. ‘Dud’ is a Potters fan, whilst ‘Grippa’ is a pretend Birmingham City fan.

From an operational perspective, the branch is managed by Lee Gore (Branch Manager) who has been doing a great job managing the team since taking on the challenge in 2014. Lee is a big Liverpool fan. He is directly supported by both Jamie Koziura and Colin Charles.
Jamie Koziura (Senior Assistant Manager) joined TIP in 2017 and is now Lee’s ‘right-hand man’. When not working, he can be seen peddling around the highways and byways of the Midlands.
Colin Charles (Workshop Manager) ‘returned’ to us in 2013 and is a keen fisher in his spare time who is often found ‘dipping his rod’ in a local waterway.
Les Danes (Assistant Manager) has over 25 years’ experience of the industry and it’s fair to say that all the team get the benefit of his know-how and knowledge. Les is a ‘lesser-spotted’ Middlesbrough fan.
John Florio (Assistant Manager) is another ‘long-server’ being with TIP for well over 10 years. A Leicester City season ticket holder and also a long distance runner who has raised thousands of pounds for charitable causes.
Jamie Brownson (Operations Assistant) is the youngest member of the team and is supposedly a Coventry City fan.
Peter Gilbert (Operations Assistant) started with TIP in 2016 and his excellent IT skills have been tested of late, but he’s managed to keep everyone ‘connected’.
Rob Rhodes (Operations Assistant) joined TIP in 2014 and is our fridge engine expert. Rob enjoys martial arts when not working – you’ve been warned!
Lucy Tasker (Operations Assistant) also joined TIP in 2014 and her administration skills are legendary. Lucy also pulls a mean pint at the weekend too.
Colin Wright (Operations Assistant) is our latest recruit & also a Liverpool fan. He has kept the rest of the team entertained with his football trivia quizzes.
The workshop team, one of the largest of any TIP branch, is made up of Nigel Pearson, Ray Batchelor, Nathan Harper, Alan Harries, Richard Nelson, Stephen Piff, Dan Roberts, Jaspal Sidhu, Ben Sansom & Peter Skinner. They are ably supported by our mobile technicians, Isaac Hart, Byron Jones, John Robertson, Gareth Rose and Jack Simpson.
