Meet the TIP Nelson Team
The TIP Nelson branch is managed by Craig Vest (Branch Operations Manager). Craig joined TIP in 2016. In his spare time, he enjoys a bit of golf, having a handicap of 18 - unfortunately though he is a Burnley fan.
Craig is supported by Suzanne Crompton, Katharine Sutcliffe, Cally Waddington and Chris Latham.

Suzanne Crompton (Assistant Branch Operations Manager) has been with the team since 2015 and also has a wealth of experience in the industry of over 30 years. Suzanne enjoys walking the dog and spending time with her family. She is the 'go to' person for anything IT within the branch as we know she really enjoys dealing with all the issues - NOT! Suzanne currently holds the title as TIP's only female shunter.
Katharine Sutcliffe (Operations Assistant) joined the TIP Nelson team in 2019 after a stint with the CSC team in Head Office. Katharine has a wealth of over 30 years’ experience in the industry and enjoys walking, going to the theatre and gardening. She complains about the music on the radio in the office all the time, but she's an asset to the team so we don't mind.
Cally Waddington (Operations Assistant) joined the team in 2017, also having 15 years of industry experience prior to that. When not at work, Cally enjoys going to the gym, listening to cheesy 90s' music, attending concerts and spending time with her family.
Chris Latham (Operations Assistant) has been with the team since 2015 having previously worked in the industry for 15 years. Outside of work, Chris enjoys cycling and drinking, but not together - that would be dangerous!
Pictured left to right are John Pickering, Robert Duckworth, Gordon Marsh, Andy Peel, Philip Proctor, Kayle-Leigh Ingham, Andy Kyle, Dominic Bower
John Pickering (Technician) is one of the newest members of the team having joined in December 2019. He previously worked at TIP for 2 years before leaving us for 6 and like a yo-yo he's back again! John has over 25 years’ experience within the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys walking, reading and travelling. He is also one of the jokers of the pack.
Robert Duckworth (Semi-Skilled Mechanic) is also a new member of the team having joined us in January 2020. He comes from a Wholesale/Resale background but discovered he enjoyed driving vans so much he took his Class 2. Bobby enjoys spending time with his family on walks.
Gordon Marsh (Technician) has been part of the team since 2015 and has over 35 years’ experience in the industry. Gordon enjoys restoring classic cars in his spare time. He likes to keep us all amused; we can always count on Gordon to cheer us up when we're feeling down.
Andy Peel (Technician) has also been with the team since 2015 and has covered a total of 24 years in the industry. In his spare time, he enjoys playing snooker and darts and enjoys a bit of football.
Philip Proctor (Yard Shunter & Driver) has been with the team since 2015 having a wealth of experience of 42 years in the industry! He enjoys a bit of walking and travelling in his spare time. His favourite saying is 'I can't wait to retire'!!
Kayle-Leigh Ingham (Apprentice Technician) joined us in 2019. She enjoys spending time with her family, working on cars and going out with friends. Kayle is the baby of the team.
Andy Kyle (Mobile Mechanic) joined TIP in 2016 having previously worked fixing industrial jetters and drainage machines for 3 years then as a car mechanic for 3 years so is a 'jack of all trades'. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football and cycling.
Dominic Bower (Technician) has been with us since 2018. Dom is Kayle's mentor. He enjoys restoring cars, spending time with his family, travelling round the UK and tinkering with Ford trucks.
Last but not least, we can't forget Tom Moore (Area Sales Manager).
Tom has been with TIP for 7 years, starting as Assistant Branch Operations Manager before moving into the Commercial Team. Previously, Tom was a tanker driver and has more or less been in the industry since leaving school. Tom enjoys racing bikes and playing golf, having a handicap of 10, although Craig would argue with this! He also enjoys racing bikes, which TIP sponsored him for last year.
