Detlef Borghardt appointed to TIP Trailer Services’ Supervisory Board of Directors
Amsterdam, 30 September 2019 – TIP, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital and a leading trailer leasing, rental, maintenance and repair provider across Europe and Canada, has increased its Supervisory Board of Directors to eight members by appointing Detlef Borghardt. His appointment was effective 13 September 2019.
As a supervisory board member of Cube Transportation Europe Coöperatief U.A. - TIP's senior holding company - Borghardt will advise the Board of Directors of TIP on behalf of I Squared Capital. “I am more than excited to be part of the team from now on”, Borghardt said, “The absolute high demands of the company and its management regarding best-in-class services, products, quality and safety fit very well with my own values and fundamental beliefs. Borghardt is a senior executive and former CEO of SAF-HOLLAND S.A., a leading supplier of chassis-related systems and components primarily for trailers and semi-trailers, and also for trucks and buses. He has almost 30 years’ experience in the global commercial vehicle and automotive supplier industry.
