TIP Group has acquired a new Secure Truck Parking Isoparc in Sorigny, France. The newly acquired site is strategically located to the south of Tours at the junction of three major highways - the A10, A85 and A28 - and is less than 1 km away from an exit of the A10 highway connecting Paris to Bordeaux & the Iberian Peninsula.
Currently, Secure Parking Isoparc is fully operational, with an average of 7,000 trucks passing through daily. The 146 parking spaces are equipped with full photovoltaic sunshade coverage, as well as nearby hydrogen and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fuel stations.
Following this acquisition, Secure Parking Isoparc will undergo major construction works to upgrade the facility to TIP Standards and EU Parking Gold. Scheduled to commence in June 2024 and expected to be completed in March 2025, the planned construction includes:
- Extension to 179 parking spaces.
- Construction of a building that will host a security office, driver lounge, restroom and showers, vending machines, and other services.
- Redesign of parking entry points.
- Addition of a fitness area.
- Upgrades to video surveillance and perimeter security.
The Secure Truck Parking Isoparc will remain operational during these upgrades.
