TIP acquires Secure Truck Parking Isoparc in Sorigny

AMSTERDAM, June 13th - To extend TIP Secure Truck Parking offers, TIP has acquired a new parking, Isoparc, located in Sorigny, France.

The parking is strategically located in Sorigny, south of Tours at the junction of 3 major highways: A10, A85 and A28. It is less than 1 km away from an exit of A10 highway, connecting Paris to Bordeaux & the Iberian peninsula, where 7,000 trucks are passing every day.

The parking is already operating and has 146 parking spaces, fully covered with photovoltaic sunshades. There are also hydrogen & LNG fuel stations nearby (out of scope of the acquisition).

  • redesign of parking entry points,
  • video surveillance & perimeter security upgrade
  • construction of a building that will host security office, driver lounge, restroom & showers, vending machines, laundry & many other services.
  • fitness area,

Works are expected to be completed in March 2025, but the site remains open during this time.

TIP has now a second location in France, after the Secure Truck Parking Delta Park in Dourges which received EU Parking gold certification in 2023 and was voted European truck parking of the year by ESPORG in March 2024. This acquisition shows TIP’s commitment to build a European Network of secured rest areas for trucks drivers, contributing to road safety.
