Specialist Vehicles
Specialist vehicles are typically a rigid truck with a body that is designed for the transport of specific materials such as bulk materials or for use in specific applications such as construction or in specific environments such as construction sites.
Tipper Trucks
A truck that is designed for transporting bulk (loose) material and quickly tipping it out at the delivery location by tilting its cargo bed rearwards.
Geared towards the transport of loose materials such as sand, gravel, debris and waste and for operating on ‘off-road’, for example on construction sites.
Concrete Mixers
A truck cab and chassis with mixing drum mounted onto the latter for carrying ready-mixed concrete to a construction site. Often referred to as cement mixers, they are designed with robustness in mind and, in particular, for use on rough terrain.
